[The World in a Nutshell] WanderTales: Stories of adventures and misadventures

Guess who’s back!

HELLO! It’s been a crazy few months – 2020, what’s up?! My travel blogging has been on hiatus for more than a year now, and I’ll be the first to admit that it was a combination of things… I was pretty busy at work, was juggling several extracurriculars, but at the heart of it – it was also me just not finding the joy in blogging anymore. My list of blogs to write kept growing and growing and growing, that it came to the point that I’d open up WordPress, see the list and feel sooo damn tired.

With COVID around and the future of travel seeming very dim, there seemed to be even less of a reason to blog. But it seemed like such a shame to let this blog go – my pride and joy for such a looong time. So I’m back, with zero expectations on myself. No lists of blogs to write up, no nothing. To dip my toe into writing again, I’m going to blog about my little food experiments in the kitchen – literally step-by-step instructions for dummies who can’t cook (aka me!), so it should be safe for ANYONE to follow… even an 8 year old kid (yup, that’s my cooking level).

What else can you expect? Lots of #TipidHits or #CheapHacks. I’m the ultimate lazy hacker, and this definitely has NOT changed in the kitchen. Ingredient too expensive? Find a substitute. Ingredient not readily available in the kitchen? You got it right, find a substitute!

So if you don’t mind some experimentation, but you like reading about food and the thrill of anticipating the result of my trial and error adventures, then my next series of articles is definitely for you!

Excited to see ya guys around!
