House of Lasagna Honest Review of their Beef Lasagna and Fried Chicken Party Tray

I keep hearing AND seeing House of Lasagna on my newsfeed, and was wondering what the hype was about. Well, wonder no more, because I’m here to give you the lowdown on their Beef Lasagna AND their Fried Chicken Party Tray.

Verdict: Lasagna is OK, while Fried Chicken is a dud

Beef Lasagna

Their Beef Lasagna was what put House of Lasagna on the map in the first place. I had high expectations. Unfortunately, they weren’t really met. It was good, don’t get me wrong. But I found I actually liked The OC Chef‘s lasagna version better. That one was meatier, creamier, cheesier – essentially everything MORE. While this one was serviceable, I found the fact that I could distinctly taste the different layers of the lasagna a bit telling. It essentially means the meat in between layers are middling.

Fried Chicken Party Tray

I didn’t even realize they also sold Fried Chicken Party Trays! Well, no wonder. LOL I didn’t like it. Haha! The chicken skin was nice and crispy, but I found the chicken a tad dry and there was no flavor to the meat beyond the skin. Hard pass for me.
