Pancake House All-You-Can Weekends (Taco and Spaghetti) Honest Review

I first heard about the Pancake House Eat All You Can promo during the weekends from the Let’s Eat Pare FB group. For just PHP 349, you get to eat unli tacos and spaghetti for TWO HOURS, at the restaurant that arguably sells the best tacos and spaghetti in town! You bet I was excited when I heard this, until I realized “Oh no, I have to dine in!”

Well, after some soul searching, I decided to brave the dine-in – all for the sake of Eat All You Can! #Priorities. To minimize the risk, I decided to go early in the morning, when the restaurant had just opened, to minimize the number of diners at that time.

So now, time to discuss – was it worth it?

Verdict: Super worth it! Go try NOW

Food Quality

Normally I stay away from eat all you can promos because I get the sense that they’re either skimping on the ingredients quality, meal size, et al – in order to afford the cost of diners ordering multiple quantities for the price of one. In the case of Pancake House though, I wasn’t that worried. Why?

  1. I LOVE Pancake House tacos and spaghetti. Honestly, we eat Pancake House around once every month (or every other month), although it’s pretty much been takeaways for the past few months. So, if they do decide to skimp on the serving size or meal quality, I’d be able to spot it from a mile away.
  2. The cost of spaghetti and tacos are hella cheap, you know? So even if I had multiple refills, I’m pretty sure it would still be well within their cost structure. First, the spaghetti noodles itself is damn cheap, and the sauce was cooked in a huge batch (I’m sure) – so labor cost shouldn’t be too significant. Same goes for the tacos – the most time consuming part of this process is really the ingredients prep, which I’m fairly sure was done in huge batch sizes

Anyway, let me lay all your fears to rest, because after eating at Pancake House today, I give the food quality two thumbs up. Same quality, same serving size, same everything – all for the price of one. So hmm, actually it made me realize I’m probably paying a ton of money for overpriced tacos and spaghetti on a normal day LOL

Staff Service

Okay, another concern is also staff service. Since there’s a two hour time limit, some staff really take their time taking your order and coming out with the actual meal. That wasn’t the case with Pancake House Banawe. You’re given a “placard” which you raise when you want to order an additional taco or an additional spaghetti. They can see it from a mile away, and the servers were super responsive every time I raised it

I ended up ordering three spaghetti and two tacos. Don’t judge – it’s my BRUNCH! #Defensive. Haha, anyway! That occurred in a span of 1 hour, then the rest of my time was spent dilly dallying, sipping hot choco (ordered separately) and just letting the food digest. Mygosh, it’s really nice to dine out. I miss this 🙁

Overall, loving the Pancake House Eat All You Can experience. Will I repeat it? Probably not – I’m all taco’d and spaghetti’d out. LOL. But, it’s really excellent value for money, so if you haven’t done it yet – I highly recommend you go and try. This promo is still ongoing for the following dates: March 5 to March 7, March 12 to March 14, March 19 to March 21, and March 26 to March 28.
