Cannelle Bakeshop Tuna, Chicken, Ham and Cheese, Bacon and Mushroom Rolls Honest Review

Waah, we were gifted Cannelle Bakeshop rolls the other day and I am SOO happy. They are honest-to-goodness good bread. Nothing fancy, but super soft bread (their tagline is “lambot sarap” which I can 100% attest to) and the filling is incredibly generous.

We loved it so much, my sister ended up ordering it again for her birthday and gifting it to folks.

So far, I’ve tried four of their flavors, and I’ll give my rundown below:

  • Tuna Roll: This is the undisputed favorite within my family. For me though, it honestly just tastes like tuna spread. Hahaha! I really like tuna spread though, so this is no hardship for me. Omnomnom

  • Chicken Roll: This one’s filling is akin to the chicken empanada filling, with chicken strips, potatoes, and raisins. Yummy! I like this too <3

  • Ham and Cheese Roll: Typical ham and cheese, but I really like the cheese! It oozes out!

  • Bacon and Mushroom Roll: This was my favoriteeee! I love bacon and mushroom. Ironically, this is also the one I don’t have a photo of…. Because I ate it and forgot to take a photo. Oops.

Okay, as you can see – nothing particularly special with the filling, but it’s in its ordinariness and normalcy that it really stands out. It reminds me of my mom’s homemade bread fillings (when she’s in the mood to make them).

Two thumbs up for Cannelle Bakeshop.
