Out of all our suppliers, Chico was one of our favorites! In general, he was just so easy to work with. Quick to reply, very calm and pleasing manner – I always felt he was on top of things. I shared a few pegs but in the end just told him to do what he thinks will look good, and he delivered!

Tbf, I think the key to happiness is to have low expectations lol. For the styling, I was really chill about it. I just told him what I didn’t like and what I did.

I really liked my bouquet and that pop of color brought about by the sunflower. It really became such a focal point. Nice also the bouquets for our mothers, which we gave during the honoring parents ceremony.

I also like how he isn’t makwenta. When we cut down on the number of tables, he was the one who informed us that he’d shave off Php 1,000 from the bill given he didn’t have to place a centerpiece on 2 tables anymore. When we requested for additional styling on the cake table and on the bridal car, he agreed without extra charge – mentioning that he’d just move some flowers around.

On the day, he arrived on time, and went to work quickly. Everything was set up upon the agreed upon time.

Overall, very happy with Chico’s work, and would happily recommend him to all Tagaytay brides (no OOTF!)

For the longest time, ayaw ko talaga magtent kasi what’s the point of a garden wedding if you can’t see the garden right? But in the end, my husband and I agreed to get the tent as a backup, then just decide the day before if we’ll use it or not. You need to decide by 9pm the day before because it’ll take them ~12 hours to finish setting everything up.

The day before my wedding, it was pouring rain like mad. So no choice, tent it is. But come wedding day, the heavens cleared and the weather was beautiful. Thank you Lord!

Thankfully, despite having a tent, the “garden” feel was retained, and many of the guests actually complimented the tent as it added to that serene feeling of the ceremony. So all’s well that ends well!
