Sweet Success Ube Sans Rival Cake Honest Review

Sweet Success is an online bakeshop specializing in customized cakes and desserts. My sister follows them quite religiously because she used to take baking classes from the owner of Sweet Success. My sister’s a phenomenal baker, so it stands to reason that the person who taught her must be good as well (of course, this logic doesn’t always hold true LOL).

Anyway, more critically, my sister’s been experimenting with sans rival but she hasn’t managed to get it down yet. So she wanted to take this chance to buy the Ube Sans Rival cake of Sweet Success to check and see the texture and make up of their sans rival. Don’t ask me how she plans to do it – I just eat them cakes.

I have no idea why my photos of this particular cake is so sparse, but it’s good. The cake is made up of a soft ube chiffon cake, layered with creamy buttercream, meringue, and chopped nuts.

The soft ube chiffon cake isn’t the important part. It’s good but my unbiased opinion is this: my sister’s ube cake is way better at this point.

But the sans rival? That layer of creamy buttercream, meringue and chopped nuts? Chewy heaven! It really is good. Don’t ask my why it’s good – it just is. But I liked how the nuts doesn’t get stuck in my teeth, the consistency is smooth and it melts in your mouth. Flavor-wise, it was sweet enough to satisfy my sweet tooth, but not too sweet since I heard zero complaints from my parents and grandparents.

Definitely check out this sans rival – it’s WOW. I hope my sister manages to reverse engineer this LOL
