I recently created these super good potato wedges and have kept making them since as the perfect side dish whenever I feel lazy. Well, this time I decided to innovate a bit. What else could I do with potato? I immediately thought of baked potato – yum yum! I ran off to Google some recipes, and hit upon this jackpot

Ingredients for Baked Potato

  • 5 medium sized potatoes
  • Extra-virgin olive oil
  • Sea salt
  • Toppings: sour cream, bacon, chives

  • Use a fork to poke a few holes into the potato
  • Place parchment paper on your baking pan. On the parchment paper, rub the baked potatoes with olive oil, then sprinkle liberally with sea salt all over. Don’t overdo the salt though, or else it’ll end up REALLY salty

  • Place the potatoes into the oven to bake for 45-60 minutes. Depending on the size of your potatoes, the longer the baking time. Once the skins are crisp and puffy and you can easily pierce the potatoes with a fork, it’s time to take out the potatoes. Honestly, it’s pretty impossible to overbake the potatoes. So when in doubt, just keep it in the oven for a longer time
  • Take out the potato from the oven, and let it cool for a few minutes
  • Slice open the potatoes, then carve the potato from the skin and fluff up the insides. Top up with your favorite fixings such as sour cream, bacon and chives

  • Bon Appetit!
