An honest review of Di-zurt Tarts

Packaging

This photo was lifted from Di-zurt PH’s FB page, as I didn’t take time to photograph the packaging LOL

The packaging is pretty simple. It’s placed in a plain white box with the Di-zurt logo emblazoned on the lower right side. What I found pretty impressive was despite the bumpy transport (care of motorcycle riders), the tarts remained firmly in place and its pretty designs remained intact. This makes for a beautiful gift to friends and families alike.

Taste

Di-zurt PH tarts

I really liked the cheesecake base which was light without overwhelming the taste of the toppings. The tart cup itself was also great. It didn’t crumble easily upon slight pressure, but neither was it too touch to bite.

Of the six flavors, I actually loved the fruits ones the most. The Mango was beautiful to behold, shaped into a flower, and was sweet without being cloying. Of course, this might be a different story once mango season is over. But for now, this one is a clear favorite.

The Blueberry flavor, while not new in any way, was also good. It’s hard to beat a classic, but to live up to it? That one, this did.

Three Fruits, in this instance, consisted of peaches, kiwi, and grapes. Again, pretty presentation but the peaches were rather soggy by the time we ate it (two days later)

The Dark Chocolate & Nuts was also a hit. Loved the dark chocolates, which was complemented well with the base flavor of the nuts against the sweetness of the chocolates.

Last but definitely not the least, we had Dark Chocolate & Coconut, as well as Coffee Caramel. These two didn’t really differentiate themselves to me. But still, tasty!
