Feta Cheese Pasta Bake DIY Recipe (with step-by-step instructions)

Let me start by saying… this was a craze that swept through pretty much everyone I knew! People kept raving about it so I wanted to try it out.

Anyway, I don’t like it. Haha! But I’m putting up the recipe here in case I end up liking it in the future.

DELECTABLE DISH FOR THE DAY: FETA CHEESE PASTA BAKE

DIFFICULTY: Easy

SERVING SIZE: Good for 5 people

COOKING TIME: 60 minutes

INGREDIENTS FOR THE FETA CHEESE PASTA BAKE

  • 400g Feta Cheese (most recipes call for 200g, but I found that too little for us)
  • Minced garlic
  • 10 pcs cherry tomatoes
  • Olive oil
  • 500g pasta

STEP-BY-STEP PROCESS TO MAKE FETA CHEESE PASTA BAKE

  • Pre-heat oven at 200 deg C
  • Cut the block of Feta Cheese into 1″ chunks. I didn’t do this!!! But supposedly, breaking it down into smaller pieces will ensure it melts better
  • Place the feta around your baking pan. Then toss in the tomatoes and the minced garlic. Make sure the cherry tomatoes are spread out. Sprinkle olive oil to cover the cheese and tomatoes

  • Put into the oven and let it roast for 45 minutes.
  • While waiting, cook the noodles – al dente. Reserve some of the pasta water for later.

  • Once the roasting is done, bring out the pan and mash the feta and tomatoes together.

  • Mix in the noodles with a splash of paste water to get it creamy

  • Bon Appetit!
