Tarucs Tuna Tartare Honest Review

My  sister was gifted Taruc’s Tuna Tartare for her birthday, and let me just say – the packaging is BEAUTIFUL. My sister saved the box, and will be reusing it for her bedside table. Tada, multi-purpose, very eco-friendly.

Anyway, with regards to the food itself, the tuna tartare tastes very flavorful. They’re bite-sized, but wow, each one really packs a spicy punch! I was happily munching away, then voom – the flavors set in, and I was like – wine please. Hahaha! The tuna were also quite fresh, and I really like the crunchy chips.

Servings-wise, this was meant to be appetizer, but there was so much, we ended up eating it as part of the dinner meal itself!

Overall, super happy I got to try this – I’m excited to try the salmon tartare too! Although, I was thinking, I still prefer sashimi still, because this allows you to fully appreciate the freshness of the fish, whereas this tuna tartare sauce really overwhelms the fresh flavor of the fish.
