San Francisco tour (5-day itinerary) – Farmer’s Market, Land’s End, Baker Beach

WAAH last day always feels super bittersweet! Our flight back to Manila was at night, so we still had the rest of the day to chillax and check out this beautiful city. Thankfully, our hotel (Sheraton Fisherman’s Wharf) allowed us to check out at 4:30PM, which was perfect timing as it left us enough time to grab dinner, then head to the airport after. Okay – without further ado… presenting today’s itinerary!

Day 5

Brunch at Farmer’s Market

Can’t decide what you want to eat, but eager to check out one of the most famous fresh farm food market? Then Farmers Market is for you! If possible, do this on a Saturday as that’s when all the vendors come out in full force, and you’ll see the market in action the likes of which you’ve never seen before

Go as early as possible, or definitely before noon, as the crush of people then gets unbearable and you’d be stuck waiting in line for a long time

Walk around first before deciding on which stall to eat from – and don’t buy too much from any one stall. Each stall is unique from the other, and they serve up some really good food, so try to check out as many as possible

Land’s End hike

By this time, you know the drill – for every heavy meal, there must be equivalent exercise! Again, we took Lyft since they were offering a 20% discount at that time (haha the power of Googling for discounts yay!!!) to get to Land’s End – place the dropoff location at the Visitor Center

From the Visitor Center, it’s a 2 hour walk to Baker’s Beach (which is the final destination!). Along the way, you’ll chance upon Mile Rock Beach which has interesting labyrinth and rock croppings. To get to the beach, you’ll need to go down a looong flight of stair though. Oh well, no pain, no gain!

Baker Beach

From here, keep walking – you’ll leave the Land’s End area and walk a bit through a pretty fancy neighborhood… until you reach Baker Beach – where you can get the most beautiful beachside views of the Golden Gate Bridge! <3

Back to the hotel to pack!

Don’t think you care about this, so let’s skip this shall we? Instead, I’ll give a short review of Sheraton Fisherman’s Wharf (the hotel where we stayed). I used my SPG points to book all five nights in San Francisco, therefore we didn’t have to pay a single cent which was great! Overall…

Pros:

  • I love the location – it’s near the wharf, which is great for folks who want to go out for a morning run! Likewise, across all my 5-day itinerary (except Tartine Bakery), the first stops were always walking distance from the hotel (hehe, I consider a 30 mins walk still walking distance). Do take note that I didn’t take into account public transport when discussing location though (since we used either our trusty feet, or Lyft the entire time we were in San Francisco)
  • There’s a supermarket nearby – always important <3

Cons:

  • Thought the bathroom was really small (also no bidet!) – I know this is a norm for US hotels… but it’s a bit of a disappointment compared to Asian hotels

Dinner at Surisan’s

Final dinner in San Francisco, and we made the absolute right choice with Surisan. Surisan’s dishes were a delightful take on beloved Korean dishes, artfully and tastefully deconstructed the American way – and is BEYOND A DOUBT my FAVORITE restaurant in San Francisco. If I could only choose one restaurant I could go back to, Surisan would be it. Don’t trust me? Try it for yourself – no regrets!!!

  • What we ordered: Millionaire’s bacon w/ Yukon strips, penne bulgogi, Glazed KFC bap (sweet soy glazed KFC, soy reduction, Kewpie drizzle), Beef and kimchi purgatory (beef, kimchi, stewed tomato broth over rice), Belly pot (tender braised pork belly, Bibim guksu (somen noodle, pork belly, vegetables, gochujang sauce)
  • Cost: ~$25 per person

And that’s it – my entire five days in San Francisco! 🙂 If you’re planning the rest of your trip, then check out my other San Francisco travel blogs as well!

  • Hey, how’s it going?

I want to pass along some very important news that everyone needs to hear!

In December of 2017, Donald Trump made history by recognizing Jerusalem as the captial of Israel. Why is this big news? Because by this the Jewish people of Israel are now able to press forward in bringing about the Third Temple prophesied in the Bible.

Jewish Rabbis have publicly announced that their Messiah will be revealed in the coming years who will be a leader and spiritual guide to all nations, gathering all religions under the worship of one God. They deny Jesus as their Messiah, and the Bible tells us this Jewish Messiah will be the counterfiet that will bring about a false peace, and ultimatley the great tribulation.

They even printed a coin to raise money for the Temple with Donald Trumps face on the front and with king Cyrus'(who built the second Temple) behind him. On the back of the coin is an image of the third Temple.

More importantly, the power that runs the world wants to put a RFID microchip in our body making us total slaves to them. This chip matches perfectly with the Mark of the Beast in the Bible, more specifically in Revelation 13:16-18:

“He causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads, and that no one may buy or sell except one who has the mark or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.

Here is wisdom. Let him who has understanding calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man: His number is 666.”

Referring to the last days, this could only be speaking of a cashless society, which we have yet to see, but are heading towards. Otherwise, we could still buy or sell without the mark amongst others if physical money was still currency. This Mark couldn’t be spiritual because the word references two different physical locations. If it was spiritual it would just say in the forehead. RFID microchip implant technology will be the future of a one world cashless society containing digital currency. It will be implanted in the right-hand or the forehead, and we cannot buy or sell without it! We must grow strong in Jesus. AT ALL COSTS, DO NOT TAKE IT!

“Then a third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, “If anyone worships the beast and his image, and receives his mark on his forehead or on his hand, he himself shall also drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out full strength into the cup of His indignation. He shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels and in the presence of the Lamb. And the smoke of their torment ascends forever and ever; and they have no rest day or night, who worship the beast and his image, and whoever receives the mark of his name” (Revelation 14:9-11).

People have been saying the end is coming for many years, but we needed two key things. One, the Third Temple, and two, the technology for a cashless society to fulfill the prophecy of the Mark of the Beast.

If you haven’t already, it is time to seek God with all your heart. Jesus loves you more than you could imagine. He wants to have a relationship with you and redeem you from your sins. Turn to Him and repent while there is still hope! God bless!
